The Department of English and Other Foreign Languages, SRM IST Ramapuram, organized Day 1 of the Two Day National FDP on Research for faculty and research scholars on 3rd December, 2020. The resource person, veteran and stalwart of English education, Dr. B. Krishnamurthy, formerly Dean, Science and Humanities, SASTRA University, deliberated on the “Intricacies of Research in English Studies” which was a very valuable and insightful lecture. Around 300 partcipants from various institutions across the nation attended the live webinar and registered positive feedback.
The Two Day FDP on Research organized by the Department of English and Other Foreign Languages, SRM IST Ramapuram, for faculty and research scholars, came to a successful close with a scintillating and extremely insightful lecture-presentation, on Day 2, 4th December, by Dr. Chumki Biswas, Asst. Prof., Thadomal Shahani Eng. College, University of Mumbai, on “Ease Your Way Into Research Publication”, which was a very illuminating session. Around 400 participants from various institutions across the nation attended the live session, and the interaction and feedback from the attendees were unequivocally positive and productive.
