Tech Club

Tech Club provides personal growth, leadership and learning opportunities in engineering, technology, innovation, and design. The Tech Club of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram is the oldest club with student members from all the domains of engineering and technology. The Tech club has goal to share our passion for technology by educating students about current development in the field of engineering and technology.

Tech Club provides a place for the introduction of cohort study regarding principles and practices that are the foundation of understanding how engineering and technology supports each other as well as how they work. Tech Club promotes the student community with their ability for invention, resourcefulness and ultimately innovation.

Tech Club of SRMIST will organise several events in all semester of academic year, which will truly promote the technical knowledge of the students and helps to work among inter disciplinary.

Technocrat Celebrations by Tech Club on 27 September 2019

The Tech Club conducted an event for the non-teaching staff of SRM, Ramapuram as a “Safety and Hazard Literacy Program” in the Library AV hall on 9th February 2019.

Tech club Organized and conducted a 2 days event titled TECHFEST 2021 on 12th & 13th March 2021. We had around 100 participants for the quiz and tech talk.

DAY 1 – 12th March 2021

The event started around 10 am with a welcome address by the student coordinator Ms. C. Deepanjali from Tech club, followed by the club introduction by Ms. Atmika member of Tech club. We played an interactive quiz with logo names and some technical connexions. It was like a warm up session for all the participants followed by a game the quiz was conducted for 30 mins (25 questions). Nearly 20 participants scored more than 80% and awarded appreciation certificates. The event was concluded by student coordinator Ms. Dhanusri from Tech club.

DAY 2 – 13th March 2021

The event started around 10 am with a welcome address by the student coordinator Ms. C. Deepanjali from Tech club, followed by Convenor of Tech club  Dr. T. Ch.Madhavi who has  given a valuable talk about the event. The speaker introduction was provided about the resource person Mr. R. Kedarnath, Manager, CTS, Chennai by the student.

Event coordinator Ms. R. Sathya AP/CSE, thanked our resource person for taking time for all of us from your busy schedule. The event had a great ending with an interactive doubt clarification session. Participants were given their valuable feedback in the Google form. Finally the event is concluded by the student coordinator Ms. Dhanusri from Tech club. The session was very enlightening and was well appreciated by the participants.

We would like to thank all the faculty members and the students for their continuous support in organising the contest  to make it a grand success.
