The Central Library at the Ramapuram Campus was established in 2004, when the faculty of Engineering & technology started here. The library has an excellent collection of books covering science, engineering and humanities.

The fully air-conditioned Central Library is situated in the Ground floor of Main Block with the area about 8000 sq ft. and the PG & Architecture Library located in the Ground floor of the PG block. Designed to accommodate 180 users at a time, the library has various sections such as

The Library has an impressive collection of Standard & University prescribed text and reference books. Based on student needs & faculty recommendation, multiple copies of text books are bought and made available. Nearly 225 periodicals are subscribed every year as print version and more than 4000+ online journals have been subscribed through INDEST – AICTE consortium (Indian National Digital Engineering Science & Technology).

Audio – Visual Facilities

The Audio Visual hall has a dish antenna to receive the following educational and information channels:

EKLAVYA Technology Channel:
It is a channel dedicated to technical education and telecasts programs from various IITs in India.

UGC Gyan Dharsan:
A 24 hours educational Channel under the auspices of IGNOU.

BBC World:
A 24 hours world news channel.

NPTEL Video Courses: (National Program on Technical Enhanced Learning)
The main objective of NPTEL program is to enhance the quality of engineering education in the country by developing curriculum based video and web courses. This is being carried out by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore as a collaborative project and aided by The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Under the National Mission on Education through Information & Communication Technology. The Web & Video materials are available in the Library.
