SRM RMUN Debate Fest’24

The Department of English and Foreign Languages, SRMIST – Ramapuram, organized a Skill Development Program on SRM RMUN – DEBATE FEST’24 on 15th March 2024. Dr. Usha Menon, Dean Campus Life, gave a welcome speech and encouraged students through her motivational speech. The Moderator Harishankar Padmanabhan, dynamic alumni of the 2017 batch and founder of Speak Your Mind Education, aimed to empower students in essential life skills such as public speaking, debating, and employability. With 125 registrations received online and an additional 40 registrations on-spot, the event promises to be a vibrant platform for intellectual exchange and spirited debate. Students eagerly showcase their debating prowess and hone their skills in negotiation, critical thinking, and effective communication. The feedback was overwhelming & positive.
