The Department of Mathematics, SRM IST, Ramapuram campus, celebrated Onam on 10.09.19. The faculties of the Department and the students of II year B.Sc., Mathematics took part in the celebration. Onam Pookolam(Flower Rangoli) which is considered as the traditional and very auspicious part of Onam was done by the students.
The celebration began at 11.30 am in the seminar hall of Hospital Block with the prayer song and welcome address by the students. Cultural events such as singing and dance were performed by the students. The celebration was a memorable one which ended with the vote of thanks by the students. They thanked the management and the Department of Mathematics for their support in conducting the celebration.
