Dr. Sharon P Thomas started the session by sharing data about violence and maltreatment against children physically, sexually, and emotionally. She informed that almost 20% sex trafficking victims are children.
Dr Sharon concluded session by highlighting World Health Assembly’s steps to deal with the scenario concerned with these practices.
The session was very informative. It gave a different divergence and angle to think and act on empowering girl child. Nearly 100 participants from different departments joined in today’s session.
