Leadership Talk: “Be a Leader”

So, to make everyone understand why a good leader is very important for any organization and what makes a good leader; the department of Mathematics, SRMIST Ramapuram organized a leadership talk on the topic “Be a Leader” exclusively for school students and teachers on 19.02.2022.

Dr. Ahila Krishnamoorthy started her session explaining about mandatory characteristics of a leader. She said that a true leader is someone who brings people together to get things done, and has the ability to lead and guide a team.
She spoke about the essence of leadership, academic environment of students and teachers, qualities of a leader, leadership styles, steps to become a true leader, leaders anatomy and about teachers as Leaders.
She concluded with saying -Leaders are not born, they are developed and shaped by the environment.
Nearly 100 Participants enthusiastically participated in the session.
