The Department of Mathematics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus conducted a skill development program for the students (X, XII std) and faculty members of Chennai Higher Secondary School, Nesapakkam on 28.06.2022 at 10:30 a.m.
Motivational talks on the topics Importance of Education in our Life and Moral Values for School Children were delivered. Brain Gym Exercises were taught to students to effectively use both sides of the brain. An aptitude test was conducted to develop Mathematical skills. Almost 110 students actively participated in the first round, out of which 20 were qualified for second round. Two students were awarded the first and second prizes respectively at the end of final round.
A tree plantation activity was also conducted in the school campus to promote Go Green campaign. The school management appreciated the program and the efforts taken by the Department of Mathematics, SRM IST, Ramapuram.
