ONE-DAY COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF
The Department of English and other Foreign Languages conducted a One-day Workshop on “Communication Skills” for the Non- Teaching Faculty of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, on 18 June 2022, (10.00 a.m-3.00 p.m). The workshop was presided over by Dean, E&T, SRM IST, who stressed the signifance of communication. Vice-Principal Academic gave his felicitations by insisting on the way communication has to be delivered successfully. The workshop was conducted in four sessions focussing on the four skills of communication – Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. All the sessions were activity oriented and the participants involved themselves enthusiastically and had a great takeaway. The feedback given by the participants was very positive.
