National seminar report
Department of Physics organized an online National seminar on Current challenges and future scope in Photovoltaics (NCCFP- 2022) on 25th April 2022 (Monday) between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM via Zoom platform.
The event started with welcome address by Dr. L. Sudha, Professor & Head/Physics. The resource person Dr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, from CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi has delivered about advantage of nano-structured black silicon for efficient thin silicon solar cells and briefly described about challenges in this field.
The second talk delivered by Dr. Easwaramoorthi Ramasamy, Scientist E from ARCI, Hyderabad He elaborated the material preparation and fabrication of perovskite solar cells from Lab to Fab transformation.
The third talk given by Dr. Vandana, Principal Scientist from CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute Bhopal, she briefly explained about significant of surface passivation in silicon solar cell and oxide films prepared by atomic layer deposition.
We received overwhelming 319 registrations, 178 participants including Faculty members, Research scholars and UG/PG students from all over India attended the National seminar . In the interactive session, the participants raised questions to the speakers and discussed about the topics.
This successful webinar has been coordinated by Dr. M. Dhanasekar, Dr. Sanju Rani, and Dr. Nataraj, Assistant Professor and convened by Dr. L. Sudha, Professor and Head, Department of Physics.
