“Basic Physics in Day to Day life”
The Department of Physics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai has organized an expert talk on”Basic Physics in Day to Day life” on 28h July 2022 at 2 pm.
The event was conducted online through Zoom Platform.
The event started with welcome address by Dr. M. Saravanan, HOD (i/c) Physics.
Dr. M. Dhanasekar, Assistant Professorintroduced our Resource person.
Dr. S. Murugavel, Professor & Head from Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore gave a scintillating talk about “Basic Physics in Day to Day life”
The resource person made a wonderful interaction with the active participants on the basic physics concepts which we have seen in our day to day life. The students actively interacted with the speaker.
We have received around 99 participants in Zoom Platform. The participants include school and diploma students, school teachers, Faculty members and Research Scholars from various institutions. The participants raised questions to the speakers and discussed about basic physics. A good feedback was received from the participants. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. T.Beena, Assistant Professor(SG), Department of Physics, SRMIST, Ramapuram.
