Core Teaching in Power System Protection in the topics of Relays and Circuit breakers

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering conducted a “CORE TEACHING IN POWER SYSTEM PROTECTION” on 24th February 2021, from 11AM to 1PM. Dr. S. Poornima researcher in “FERRORESONANCE MITIGATIONS IN TRANSFORMER PROTECTION”, at Anna University delivered key speech about the recent trends and research opportunities in Power system protection.
This event covered transformer protection unit of the course ‘Power System Protection’, offered to EEE 3rd year students.
A total of 84 students from second year and third year of EEE participated and everyone gave a positive review about the event. As a part of core teaching policy, two units of the course ‘Power System Protection’ were presented to the students on industry perspective.
Thanks to the Chairman, Co-Chairman, Director and Dean(E&T) for the guidance encouragements provided to conduct such events continuously by the department of EEE.
