Webinar on Development of Ultra High Temperature Materials for Hypersonic Applications
The Department of Physics has organized an International Webinar on “Development of Ultra High Temperature Materials for Hypersonic Applications” on 23-07-2020 (Thursday) between 01.30PM to 03:30PM through ZOOM platform. The Webinar session was handled by Dr. Doni J Daniel, Senior Lecturer in Aircraft Structures and Materials, Department of Aerospace and Aircraft Engineering, School of Engineering and Development, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing, Kingston University London, United Kingdom.
Dr. L. Sudha, Professor and Head, Department of Physics chaired the session and delivered welcome address. Dr. V. Jayalakshmi, Assistant Professor (Sr.G) introduced the resource person.
Dr. Doni J Daniel has delivered a lecture on the topic “Development of Ultra High Temperature Materials for Hypersonic Applications”. He explained about the design of Multilayered Ultra High temperature Ceramic materials. He discussed about the UHT evaluation of UHTC composites.
We received overwhelming registrations, 200 participants including Faculty, Research scholars and UG/PG students from all over India and London attended the Webinar. In the interactive session, the participants raised questions to the speaker and discussed about the topics. The participants gave very good feedback to the resource person.
The resource person thanked the management and organizers for arranging the virtual symposium.
