SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram in association with E& ICT Academy, NIT Warangal has organized online Faculty development program on “Real Life Applications of AI, ML and Soft Computing Techniques” from 22.03.24 to 31.03.24 .This program was sponsored by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ( *Meity) GoI .
The aim of this FDP is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the practical applications of AI, ML, and Soft Computing in various industries. Through a series of lectures, participants will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field and gain practical insights that can be applied in their own work and research.
Inaugural function:
Inaugural function of the FDP was held at 2.30 PM on 22.03.24. The program began with virtual lighting of the lamp followed by the National song. Dr. Sujit Das coordinator from NIT Warangal gave a brief introduction about the program and welcomed the participants. Dean, E

Associate Director, SRM group of Institutions Ramapuram, mentioned in his inaugural address that, AI, ML and Soft Computing is the current reining technology that has conquered industries around the world. Valedictory Function:
The valedictory function was conducted on 31.03.2024 at 7.15 PM with the welcome address. At the very outset Dr. Sujit Das, coordinator, NIT Warangal, presented a brief report of FDP.
Dean (E&T) in his felicitation address congratulated and appreciated the department for taking up the latest trend of the Industry as the FDP topic, to upgrade the skill and competency of the Faculty members. He thanked E &ICT Academy, NIT Warangal for associating with SRMIST, Ramapuram in organizing the FDP.
Associate Director in his valedictory address mentioned that there has been an enormous increase in the importance and usage of AI, ML and soft computing techniques. He emphasized that the proposed concept is essential to equip ourselves according to the demand of the industry.
Dr. Shakeela Sathish, Coordinator, SRMIST, Ramapuram proposed the vote of thanks. The program concluded with the national anthem.
Research scholars and faculty members from all over the nation participated in this FDP. The intensive exposure to the subject, through presentations and discussions led by multiple experts, renewed the motivation of the participants to pursue higher productivity and fulfillment of professional and academic goals. They appreciated, congratulated and thanked the organizers for organizing such informative sessions thereby acknowledging the success of the FDP.
