Community of Hackers and Advanced Technologists (CHAT) club is a student-run community dedicated to promoting cybersecurity education, collaboration, and research. CHAT also offers opportunities for students to get involved in research and to compete in cybersecurity competitions.
Vision:
(CHAT) club envisions that all IT department graduates have experience with cyber security principles so they can build a more secure digital future, regardless of their specific role or job. We strive to strengthen the cyber resilience of our university and beyond through the skills and perspectives of our members. Through hands-on learning opportunities, industry speakers, and real-world projects, we aim to educate students on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and defences. We want every IT student to have basic cyber security knowledge that can benefit their future careers, even if security is not their main focus.
