With an objective of help students to pursue their hobbies and interests and to bring people together the student clubs are created at the Institute. As a club member one knows about one’s self, one’s interests and one’s goals. Students can unravel their strengths like multitasking, organization skills, team Building skills, leadership skills and service mindedness. They can also add skills to their repertoire. The clubs also help in pursuing an old hobby. Networking opportunities being major benefit Club members develop bond among themselves which help in growing their careers. Objective
Community of Hackers and Advanced Technologists (CHAT) club is a student-run community dedicated to promoting cybersecurity education, collaboration, and research. The club provides a forum for students to learn about the latest cybersecurity threats and techniques, collaborate on projects, and network with professionals in the field. CHAT also offers opportunities for students to get involved in research and to compete in cybersecurity competitions.
Vision
(CHAT) club envisions that all IT department graduates have experience with cyber security principles so they can build a more secure digital future, regardless of their specific role or job. We strive to strengthen the cyber resilience of our university and beyond through the skills and perspectives of our members. Through hands-on learning opportunities, industry speakers, and real-world projects, we aim to educate students on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and defences. We want every IT student to have basic cyber security knowledge that can benefit their future careers, even if security is not their main focus.
