The department of Mathematics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, has conducted a skill development program for the students (X, XII std) and faculty members of ST.Thomas Vidyalam, Vanagaram on 10.06.22.
The program was conducted in parallel sessions. A presentation on “SCOPE OF MATHEMATICS IN HIGHER EDUCATION ” and a skill development training was given to the students. An aptitude test was conducted to encourage the students to develop mathematical skills. Almost 95 students actively participated in the first round out of which 25 were qualified for second round. 3 students were awarded the first and second prizes respectively at the end of second round. The school management has appreciated the program and the efforts taken by the department.
