The department of Physics organised a “PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON CRUX OF THE MCQ” on December 14th, 2022 (Wednesday) between 02:00 PM and 4:00 PM in Admin Block IVth floor – Physics Lab, SRM IST, Ramapuram campus, Chennai.

The event started with a welcome address by Dr T. Beena, Faculty of Physics. She has given overview of the session and welcomed the gathering.
The resource person has given a scintillating talk on how to frame MCQ. He explains the anatomy of MCQ as Stem, Key, Distractors and Options, Do`s and Don’ts, especially to avoid ‘All of the above’ and ‘None of the above’ while framing the multiple-choice questions with number of examples of poor and better MCQs
Finally the coordinatorof the programthanked the Management, Most Respected Dean (E&T), V.P Academic for providing proper guidance and continuous support to organize this event.
The successful event was coordinated byDr. N. Priyadharsini, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics.
