Department of Physics have planned to organize a Guest Lecture for I Year B.Tech students on 14.10.2022 in Block-V, Gallery Hall-3 at 2 PM. Dr. S. Murugavel, Professor & Head, Department of Physics, Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, is going to give a lecture on “Concepts of Science in Day to Day Life”
The Department of Physics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai has organized a guest lecture on ” Concepts of Science in Day to Day life” exclusively for I Year B.Tech students on 14h October 2022 at 1.30-4.00 pm in Block V, Gallery Hall-III.
The event started with welcome address by Dr.M.Saravanan, HOD (Physics). HOD welcomed the Guest, Faculties and Students. Dr.K.Subramanian, Assistant Professorintroduced our Resource person.
Dr.S.Murugavel, Professor & Head from Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamilnadu, Indiagave an amazing interaction session about “Concepts of Science in Day to Day life” .
Resource person have given scintillating talk on How the Science concepts potentially involved in our Day-to-Day Life. First year B.Tech students are frequently interacted with speaker. Around 150 I B.Tech students, faculty members and Research scholars are actively attended this guest lecture at Block V, Gallery Hall-III. The participants raised questions to the speakers and discussed about the potential applications of Physics. The participants provided positive comments on the presentation that the resource person gave to them. The session ended with vote of Thanks by Dr. M. Dhanasekar, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics. This Guest Lecture is convened and chaired by Dr.M. Saravanan, HOD, Department of Physics.
