The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRMIST, Ramapuram has organized a three days Skill Development Programme for Non-Teaching Staff on “BASICS OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS WITH SAFETY MEASURES” from 06.06.2022 to 08.06.2022 for Non-Teaching staff members. The inaugural session of the Skill Development Programme was graced by Dean E & T Dr.M.MURALI KRISHNA, SRM IST, Ramapuram.
The inauguration of the FDP started with an invocation followed by a Welcome address by Dr. R. Vani (Professor, Department of ECE, SRMIST, Ramapuram). The special address was delivered by Dr. PhaniKumar Polasi, Professor & HOD, ECE, and the Inaugural Address was delivered by Dean E & T Dr.M.MURALI KRISHNA. The vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr.R.Lathamanju, Associate Professor, Department of ECE, SRM IST, Ramapuram
The highlight of the FDP was to make the participants understand the intuition behind the basics of the Electrical and Electronic tools and components in practice. The highlight of the session was also the resource person giving a Demo about the PS-PICE online simulation Tool. In total 30 participants from SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Easwari Engineering College have attended and benefitted from the FDP. Participants also gave excellent feedback on the FDP & resource persons. The session was interactive and found to be highly informative for the participants.
