The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of SRM Institute of Science and Technology,Ramapuram as a part of their annual technical fest, Texus 2020, organised a workshop on Machine Learning (Imagine Artificial) on March 7th 2020. The workshop was a beginners guide to Machine Learning and the main motive of the workshop was to teach the students on how to implement machine learning in their everyday lives. The session was taken by Rahul Kumar who is the current CEO and Head of Data Science at Codeasylums.
The welcome speech for the guest was delivered by Dr.N.Kannan, HOD-CSE who welcomed the guest and motivated all the students to gain valuable insights from the workshop. The student coordinator of the workshop, Shiv Pratap Singh also welcomed the students for the workshop and addressed the crowd. Students from various institutions participated for the workshop. The workshop was then started by the speaker who gave the basic introduction to machine learning and went step by step to explain the different Machine Learning Algorithms and Techniques. The speaker also interacted with the crowd and helped them gain insight on Machine Learning.
The next session was taken by Shubham Gupta who took a Kahoot quiz which tested the knowledge of students on Machine Learning and the Workshop. The winners of the Kahoot session were awarded with goodies from Codeasylums. The workshop was concluded by our sponsors Codeasylums who gave them an insight on what Codeasylums is about. The participants of the workshop were awarded with certificates and they were bid farewell.
