Workshop On “Scope Of German For Students”
The Department of English and Other Foreign Languages, SRMIST Ramapuram conducted a Workshop on “Scope of German for Students”, on 5th March 2022. Mr. Vinay, Assistant Professor, Department of German, Saveetha School of Engineering delivered an insightful lecture-presentation on the importance of learning a foreign language like German in India today and the various career paths possible with their scope in the job market. He also threw light on the different language proficiency certification courses and exams available for German in comparison with other foreign languages like French, Japanese, Spanish, etc. The enlightening talk came to a close with a Q & A session and vote of thanks coordinated by the co-convenors of the event in the presence of the HOD/EFL dept and student participants
