Department of Physics organized an online “WORKSHOP ON BRIDGING SCIENCE WITH TECHNOLOGY” on 02th September 2022 (Friday) between 02:00 PM and 4:00 PM via Zoom platform.
The event started with welcome address by Dr. M. Saravanan, HOD (i/c) / Physics.
The resource person DR. S. MARUTHAMUTHU, Associate Professor,Department of Physics, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has delivered about how basic Science employed to the recent technology and how its used to the various applications.
The second talk delivered by MR. R.SURENDRAN, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He elaborated the importance of Science and how it implented in various technology with different field aspects.
We received overwhelming 480 registrations, 130 participants including HSC, diploma , UG/PG students, Faculty members and Research scholars from all over India attended the workshop. In the interactive session, the participants raised questions to the speakers and discussed about the topics. This successful workshop has been coordinated by Dr. M. Dhanasekar, Dr. Priyadharshini, and compared by Dr. T.Beena, Assistant Professor in Department of Physics.
