Technical Quiz Competition was conducted on 28thFebruary 2025 in Admin block 504, SRMIST, Ramapuram, Chennai.
Introduction:
The Technical Quiz Competition, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). The event aimed to stimulate critical thinking and enhance technical knowledge among students through engaging quiz sessions.
Objective:
- To Strengthens students’ understanding of fundamental EEE topics such as circuits, power systems, control systems, and electronics.
- To develop quick thinking and analytical abilities essential for technical problem-solving in real-world scenarios
Participants:
The competition witnessed active participation from I year, II year and III Year EEE students from a total of 58 students, forming 29 teams. Participants were divided into three groups: I-Year, II-year and III Year students. Each group received a distinct set of questions tailored to their respective academic levels, designed to challenge their understanding close to competitive examinations like GATE. The distribution of question papers was followed by the answer sheets to facilitate the marking process. Each team was allotted 45 minutes to navigate through the quiz questions. Post-event feedback sessions with participants revealed positive responses regarding the quiz’s content and structure. Suggestions for improvement included incorporating more real-world problem-solving scenarios and expanding the question bank for various Courses.
Outcomes

Conclusion:
The Technical Quiz Competition successfully achieved its objectives by promoting academic excellence, teamwork, and a competitive spirit among the I-year, II-year and III- year EEE students. The event received positive feedback and will serve as a benchmark for future technical competitions.
