VIRTUAL ALUMNI STUDENT INTERACTION

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Department  of Computer Science and Engineering has Organized the Virtual Alumni Interaction on  30th June 2020 from 11.00am to 12:00pm. The Alumni Interaction is conducted in order to share their experiences with the students.

With regard to that, even in this pandemic situation, We had  conducted a Virtual Alumni Interaction with final year  students through zoom platform.

Ms.Subhapriya, IV-D / CSE welcomed our Alumnus Mr. Aravind Sriram, Software Development Engineer, Synconnect for interaction.

Aravind started with the motivational speech regarding getting job in this pandemic situation. He shared his experience of preparation done for his placements.

He gave some important checklist for the students they are, to develop a portfolio of final year project, to learn the value of networking and social media platforms (like Linked In, Facebook), importance of the team work, to seek informal leadership role, to find your strength, stay updated with the current technology, to improve the practical knowledge of what students interested in, to strengthen the basics and advised the students to never forget the roots, he gave tips to attend the interviews, and finally he advised students to learn more, never waste time.

Students actively interacted by asking queries and clearing their doubts. Students thanked Mr.Aravind Sriram for sharing his experience and the guidance given by him.
