SRM Ramapuram Model United Nations 2026, organised by the Department of Language, Culture and Society under SRMR MUNSOC, was conducted from March 20 to 22, 2026. The three-day International conference was inaugurated by esteemed US Diplomat Willy Miller as the Chief Guest, whose address set a strong and insightful tone for the event. The three-day conference comprised intensive committee sessions across CCPCJ, UNGA, ECOSOC, O.R.D.E.R., Partition Council, and IPC. Delegates engaged in rigorous debates and discussions, showcasing commendable research, diplomacy, and analytical skills throughout. The Best Delegation award was secured by Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The conference concluded successfully, meeting its objective of fostering leadership, global awareness, and meaningful intellectual exchange among participants.

SRMRMUN 2026 Day 1 commenced with great enthusiasm, highlighted by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Willy Miller, U.S. Diplomat from the U.S. Consulate General, Chennai. The conference brought together delegates from diverse institutions, setting the tone for three days of meaningful debate, collaboration, and diplomacy. All committees—CCPCJ, ECOSOC, Partition Council, UNGA, IP Journalism, and IP Photography—were successfully convened, fostering engaging discussions and dynamic coverage. Delegates demonstrated strong research and diplomatic skills, while Executive Boards ensured smooth proceedings, making the day a strong start to an impactful conference.

Day 2 of SRMRMUN 2026 witnessed a significant escalation in the quality and depth of committee proceedings, with discussions becoming more structured and solution-oriented. In UNGA and ECOSOC, delegates actively engaged in negotiations and policy-focused discussions, working towards practical draft resolutions. Meanwhile, CCPCJ and the Partition Council saw intense deliberations, with participants balancing legal reasoning, historical context, and strategic decision-making.
ORDER stood out with particularly dynamic and assertive debates, reflecting strong participation and critical thinking among delegates. Simultaneously, the International Press—Journalism and Photography—captured key moments and developments across committees. Overall, the day has been marked by heightened engagement, collaboration, and clear progress toward meaningful outcomes.

Day 3 of SRMRMUN 2026 marked the culmination of three days of intense debate, negotiation, and diplomacy, as committees moved toward final deliberations and successfully passed resolutions. Delegates delivered impactful closing speeches, showcasing clarity, confidence, and the growth they had achieved throughout the conference.
Across all committees—UNGA, ECOSOC, CCPCJ, ORDER, Partition Council, and the International Press—the level of discourse reflected strong collaboration and intellectual engagement. The conference concluded with the Closing Ceremony, where Rajalakshmi College of Engineering was awarded Best Delegation, bringing SRMRMUN 2026 to a meaningful and memorable close.
