The Dept. of EFL, SRM IST, Ramapuram, Chennai, organized Day 2 of the “Three Day Webinar Series on Language and Literature” on 20 August 2020. Prof. Dr. Medha Karmarkar, Department of French, School of Arts and Sciences, RUTGERS University, New Jersey, delivered a very vivid and picturesque lecture-presentation on a very unique and interesting topic entitled, “Voices from the Harem: Revisiting Delacroix’s Les Femmes d’Alger”. The live session was received positively by around 1500 faculty and research scholars from 15+ states in India and several countries abroad. The feedback recorded is extremely positive.
