SRMIST EFL DEPT THE LITERARY CLUB BOOK REVIEW 1st NOVEMBER 2021 REPORT
The Literary Club of the Department of English and Other Foreign Languages of SRMIST Ramapuram organized “Book Review” on the 1st of November 2021 through Google Meet. The event was open to the B.Tech. 1st and 2nd year students. The Dean, College of Engineering and Technology, appreciated the participants and the initiative taken by the department. Dr.V. Rema, the head of the EFL department, in her appreciation, mentioned about the importance of reading books and encouraged the students to read a lot.
The books reviewed by the participants are as follows:
1. I too had a love story
2. Fahrenheit 451
3. Ice Station
4. All the bright places
5. Lazarus
6. The White Tiger
7. Angels and Demons
There was eager participation from the students’ side, which was a clear reflection of the success of this event.
