EVENT TITLE : SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON STM32 MICROCONTROLLER
DATE : 8.10.2024
TIME : 09.00 AM to 11.30 AM
VENUE : Gallery Hall – 1
EVENT CONVENER : Dr. Vani R, HoD(i/c)-ECE
EVENT COORDINATORS : Mrs.G.Annapoorani, Dr.K.Lalitha,Ms.Alice Linsie
NO. OF PARTICIPANTS : 120
SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Digital Communication and Design Club organized a Skill Development Program on STM32 Microcontrollers to provide participants with hands-on learning opportunities. The session covered the fundamentals of STM32 microcontrollers, such as their characteristics, applications, and how to program them with Embedded C. STM32 microcontrollers are widely utilised in a variety of sectors, including IoT devices, robotics, and automotive systems. After introducing the concepts of embedded systems and microcontrollers, participants received practical instruction using an online simulator. We explained the simulator’s coding and connections to the participants, and they practiced projects. Participants applied Embedded C, a microcontroller-specific programming language, to build code for STM32 boards.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND GRO WTH MAPPING

OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM:
The ability to create and test projects using the Wokwi Simulator was provided to participants along with instruction on how to use the STM32 microcontroller.
