SUMMARY OF THE EVENT
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized an insightful Seminar on February 17 th, 2024. Ms. Amisha Arun, a distinguished alumnus from the 2024 batch working as a API Analyst, at Sabre, Bangalore gave a talk on Campus Placement Strategies. The seminar was aimed at motivating the third-year students to equip themselves for placement preparation.
The sessions started with an introduction about Ms. Amisha Arun by Dr.R.Vani, Professor. Ms. Amisha briefed the students on the skill sets required for placements, the significance of learning software and embedded programming languages, and also the importance of a good profile. She encouraged the students to actively participate in more project competitions and other co-curricular activities that add more value to the profile.
Ms. Amisha also discussed the importance of academic performance, extracurricular activities, and internships in strengthening the profile. She offered practical advice on time management and resource utilization during the preparation phase.
The sessions were highly interactive, with ECE students actively participating and asking questions about interview rounds, internship experience, and placement preparation. The sessions concluded with Dr. Christeena Joseph, Associate Professor presenting a memento to Ms. Amisha and Vote of Thanks by Dr. R.Lathamanju, Associate Professor.

OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM
Through this Seminar on Campus Placement Strategies, attendees were exposed to skill sets required for placements especially for core companies, the significance of learning software and embedded programming languages, and also the guidelines to develop with good profile.
