Report on Event:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering takes immense delight in informing you all that we have inaugurated Centre of Excellence(CoE) in Internet of Things (IoT) Lab powered by MIT Square, London on 27.1.2022 at 11.00 AM by our honorable Co-Chairman Dr.S.Niranjan, followed by the virtual inauguration at 2.30pm.
The event started with the note of welcome address to all dignitaries by Dr.J.Shiny Duela, Asso.Prof/CSE, Dr.Lilly Sheeba, Asso.Prof and Dr.R.Ramya, Asst.Prof. Students from II Yr CSE explained about the IoT projects to the dignitaries.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr.K.Raja, Prof & Head, Departemnt of CSE and explained about the IoT lab and future activities planned for faculties and students.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr.Murali Krishna,Dean (E&T) and thanked MIT Square for providing support and guidance for our students. Presidential address given by Chief Director, Prof.Sethuraman, Dr.Subbiah Bharathi, Director and Dean (Research).
Dean (Research) delivered key points on innovation, incubation, IPR activities and funding proposals with MIT Square.
MIT Square is a leading product development company headquartered in London. They excel in the design, development, manufacturing and supplying of consumer products, industrial and IoT devices, education platforms, hospitality products, and healthcare technology. Dr.Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, CEO and Founder, MIT Square, London connected with us virtually and delivered a talk about Centre of Excellence.
The event was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms.D.Kavitha, Asst.Prof ,CSE. We thank the management, Administrative Heads for the constant support and motivation in making this event a grand success. We would like to thank our faculty members, Lab Coordinators, system Programmers and students for their extraordinary commitment, dedication and contribution in making this event a grand success.
