ABOUT THE EVENT:
OperationX (Escape Room) is an innovative, simulation-based event conducted by the
Biomedical Engineering Department where participants work in teams to solve biomedical and
clinical engineering challenges within a set time limit to “escape” the room. The event is
designed around real-world healthcare scenarios such as troubleshooting medical equipment,
decoding diagnostic reports, interpreting physiological signals, and solving case-based
technical puzzles. It integrates concepts from biomedical instrumentation, human physiology,
medical electronics, and problem-solving strategies in an engaging and high-pressure
environment.
OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM:
The outcome of the event includes enhanced critical thinking, rapid decision-making,
teamwork, and practical application of theoretical biomedical concepts. Students develop
improved analytical skills, better understanding of clinical problem-solving, and confidence in
handling real-time biomedical engineering challenges, making the learning process
experiential, collaborative, and industry-oriented.
