Synopsis:
The event began with a welcome address by Mrs. S. Aarthi, AP/CSE. She welcomed the colleagues of the department and participants (+2 and Diploma students) of the event. At Foremost highlighted about our Institution and Department to the participants with the help of PowerPoint presentation.
The event was hosted by, Mr. Srinivas Naidu, 1st year of CSE IOT. He addressed the participants with a warm welcome and highlighted the objective of the INTELLECTS club activity
Session 1: Data Representation
Speaker : Mr.Chundru Jayanth Krishna, 1st year, CSE IOT
About the session: He walkthrough about the various Domain of Computer Science & Engineering. He described how data is framed into various format namely Numeric, Graphics, Audio etc, and how it is used in the different domains
Session 2: Amazon Web Services
Speaker : Ms. Amrutha Obili, 1st Year, CSE IOT
About the session: She started explaining the basics concepts of AWS and its usage. With the help of the architecture diagram, she explained the components of AWS and the regions which are providing the AWS services now. She completed her session with a real-time demonstration of creating one Windows instance.
Session 3: 3D Internet
Speaker: Mr. Srinivas Naidu, 1st Year CSE IOT
About the session: The topic 3D Internet is very new to the participants. He compared 2D Internet with 3D Internet and highlighted the future applications of it brings enthusiasm to the participants.
The second-day session began with a small recap of the sessions of the previous day and what we would be looking forward to in that day’s session.
Session 4: Android App Development with Kotlin
Speaker: Mr. M.Yeshwanth, 1st Year, CSE IOT
About the session: The most attractive topic by today’s youngster. The Android App Development using Kotlin is the latest evolution in the IT Industry. With a glimpse of basics, he gave one real-time demonstration in creating one APP namely Die roller.
Session 5: 5th Generation
Speaker : Ms. Akshaya Kulasekaran, 1st year CSE IOT
About the session: She started the session with an introduction to 5G technologies. The performance and the expectations of the 5G in the future were neatly delivered with the help of animated pictures. She concluded the session using the Case Study of a self-driving car for a better understanding of the 5G technology.
At the end of each day, a short online quiz with a set of 15 Questions based on the day-wise topics was conducted by Ms. Amrutha Obili. All the participants actively participated in the quiz with great enthusiasm. As an appreciation, we received positive feedback about the event organization.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Akshaya Kulasekaran in a highly professional manner by including all the event organizers and the active participants.
