Importance of the webinar
Critical thinking is a desire to seek, patience to doubt, fondness to meditate, slowness to assert, readiness to consider, carefulness to dispose and set in order; and hatred for every kind of imposture.So Critcal Thinking plays a major role in one’s career graph.
Synopsis
The session started with the welcome address and an introduction about the speaker Mr.George Koshi by our faculty Ms.M.Juliot Sophia,AP/CSE. The speaker started the session by asking participant’s views on Critical Thinking. Participants eagerly answered and the speaker gave an interesting explanation on critical thinking with some examples from history. Later on critical thinking is compared with intelligence and in what way it differs from intelligence. An idea of how one can climb up in his/her career ladder using critical thinking was given. The speaker concluded the session by insisting the importance of questioning our own value system to be a better critical thinker.
An online quiz was conducted in which all the participants actively participated.
Finally the session was ended with vote of thanks by Ms.R.Sujeetha AP/CSE, She thanked the speaker and participants for their involvement and also expressed the gratitude to the Management, Director, Dean and HOD (CSE) for their support.
