The Campus Life, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SRMIST Ramapuram celebrated the Onam Celebrations on 20.09.2024. Right after the decorations are done routine rituals are followed for the Celebrations. The programme was inaugurated with lighting the kuthuvilakku by Dean(E&T),VP(Admin),Assistant Dean (Campus Life),HODs Institution Coordinator, Department Coordinators, Campus Life & NSS Student members followed by Traditional Slogan. Following this, the offstage events like Cooking competition (Traditional Kerala Illaiyadai and Kuzhiappam), Rangoli competition and Tug of war have been conducted for students. The most Anticipated part in the celebration was Campus life student’s performance. A while later, the onstage events like Traditional Thiruvathirai dance by students, Music, group dance performance have been started with welcome address by Dean (E&T), followed by Traditional Kerala Chendamelam where students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their skills and talent. The contribution by the students towards the programme was immense. Overall, the entire session turned out to be an enjoyable and wonderful moment for audience.
