The Department of English and other Foreign Languages,
SRMIST – Ramapuram,
organized an online workshop on Soft skills: Nurturing skills and Abilities for School students
on 18th and 19th June 2021.
Out of the 160 registrations, nearly 100 participants were school students and 10 students from Polytechnic. The students actively participated through Google classroom and got to know about the importance of Soft skills, Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills and other skills such as Creative thinking and interpersonal skills, team building, body language, through the informative PPTs, and they submitted the activities on all four skills based on LSRW. On both days the students found the sessions enjoyable and informative. The attendees registered positive feedback.
