SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram,Department of Physics presents “National Symposium on Advances and Innovations in Materials and Characterization Techniques” on 16-07-2025.
The event started with introduction about the SRM by Dr. Baby Suganthi, Assistant Professor followed by a welcome address by Dr. N. Balamurugan HOD/Physics.
The First session was started with the guest speaker Dr. Dr. Ashok K. Sundramoorth, Professor, Department of Materials Science and Prosthodontics at the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS University), Chennai from 10.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m on Recent Advances in the Characterization and Analysis of Two-Dimensional Layered Nanomaterials”.

The third session was started at 12.00 noon to 1.00 PM with the guest speaker Dr.Rupali Nagar, Professor, Department of Applied Sciences at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Maharashtra, India on Exploring Iron Oxide for Wide-Range Photodetection

The fourth session started with the guest speaker Dr. Muthu Senthil Pandian, FASCh, is a distinguished Research Scientist (Senior Grade-III) and Research Coordinator at the SSN Research Centre on Development of highly efficient technically important single crystal
