NATIONAL SEMINAR ON MATERIALS SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ENERGY APPLICATIONS organized by the Department of Physics SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram on 12TH APRIL 2025. The event was conducted online through Zoom Platform We have received around 268 participants in Zoom Platform. The participants for the above two sessions include Faculty members, Research Scholars and PG students from various universities and institutions. The participants raised questions to the speakers and discussed about the topics. Good feedback was received from the participants on the talk by the resource persons. The session started with welcome address by Dr. N. BALAMURUGAN HOD, the speakers are introduced by Dr. A. Senthil, Asso. Prof, and Dr. T. Beena, Asst. Professor. The entire session moderated by Dr. N. Karunagaran, Asst. Professor. The sessions ended with vote of Thanks by Dr. A. Nataraj, Asst. Professor.
Prof. Dr. G. Bhagavannarayana, Former Director, RGUKT-IIIT & Chief Scientist at CSIR-NPL and Prof. Rajini Kant, Former VC Ravindranath Tagore University, Bhopal & Professor presented their latest findings in Green Hydrogen, Crystallography, Pharmaceutical Drug Polymorphism and application in energy devices. The event aimed to foster collaboration, discuss recent breakthroughs and address challenges in the development of materials for renewable energy, energy storage and energy conversion.
