A National Level Mini Project Competition on “Artificial Intelligence in Science, Engineering & Technology” for +1, +2, and I Year B.Tech students was organized by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai on 19th & 20th February 2026. The competition aimed to provide a platform for young minds to explore and present innovative ideas integrating Artificial Intelligence with science and engineering applications.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various institutions, who presented creative and impactful mini projects addressing real-world challenges. The competition encouraged students to apply AI concepts in practical scenarios, thereby enhancing their technical knowledge, analytical skills, and research-oriented thinking.

The competition was conducted in different categories to ensure fair evaluation among participants. Winners were selected in each category and were awarded certificates of achievement and recognition. E-certificates were also provided to all participants as a token of appreciation.
Overall, the event was a grand success, fostering a spirit of innovation and technological advancement among students, and inspiring them to explore the vast potential of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future.
