Summary of the Event:
The Department of Biomedical Engineering successfully organized an engaging and entertaining event titled “Music Meets Mind” on 28th January 2026 at Block III, 4th Floor,Room no. 403 . The event was designed to uniquely blend musical creativity with logical reasoning, providing students with an enjoyable platform to test their presence of mind, quick thinking, and problem-solving abilities
The event was convened by Dr. Ushus S. Kumar, Head of the Department (I/c), Biomedical Engineering, with Dr. R.Indhumathi (AP/BME) serving as the faculty co-coordinator. S. Shreya (III Year) and Sai Mayu S (II Year) acted as
student coordinators, while Monikaa.S (III Year) and Monika.A(II Year) served as event coordinators. Students actively participated with enthusiasm, creating a lively and intellectually stimulating environment.
Concept and Design of the Event:
Music Meets Mind was thoughtfully structured in two rounds to combine musicbased challenges with logical reasoning tasks. The event aimed to enhance students’ cognitive abilities while keeping the environment light-hearted and engaging. The rounds were designed to test attention, reasoning speed, creativity, and mental agility, encouraging participants to think fast and respond effectively under time constraints
Round 1: Song Object Challenge:
In this round, participants were challenged to connect songs with given objects or situations within a limited time. This activity tested their creativity, presence of mind, and quick association skills. The round served as an exciting icebreaker,
helping participants gain confidence while setting an energetic tone for the event.
Round 2: Logical Reasoning Sprint:
The second round focused on logical and analytical thinking. Participants were given reasoning-based questions and puzzles that required quick decision-making and accuracy. This round emphasized problem-solving skills, mental alertness, and logical clarity, pushing participants to perform under pressure
