SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Faculty of Engineering and Technology is proud to announce that the Department of CSE with Specialization in Big Data Analytics and Cloud Computing proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT), Chennai on 6th May 2026 under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The MoU was formally signed by Dr. R. Shivakumar, Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions (Chennai Ramapuram and Trichy), on behalf of SRMIST, Ramapuram, and Prof. R. Chandrasekaran on behalf of CICT.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. R. Bhuvaneshwari, Registrar – CICT, Dr. M. Sakthi Ganesh, Dean (E&T), Dr. Rama Chaitanya, Vice President – Academics, Dr. M. Roopa, Vice President – Research, Dr. A. Umamageswari, HoD/BDA & CC, Dr. Helen, HoD/Chemistry, along with faculty members and students.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards strengthening academic excellence, research collaboration, and technological innovation in the field of Classical Tamil studies through advanced computing technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
