Dr Tripathi started the session with general introduction to the computational fluid dynamics and described about the important aspects of Mathematics in Physics, Thermodynamics, Foundations of bio fluids and their real world application. He briefed about contribution of fluid dynamics in field of medicine and drug delivery. Dr. Tripathi concluded the session by emphasing the wide application of mathematical modelling of fluid flow. Participants actively participated in discussion session.

Topic : Sreenivasa Ramanujan – A bird’s eye view.
Event Highlights
Dr Noor Fatima lecture started lecture by focusing on summation of infinite series introduced by Ramanujan. She then slowly moved to concept of Divergent Series and it’s formulation. Dr Noor Fatima then explained alternative forms of solving step by step series and list the various properties of the expression such as expanded logarithmic form, reduced logarithmic form, alternative representations, series representations, integral representations and decimal. Participants actively involved in brain storming question and answer session.

Event Highlights
Dr.Sujit Das started session with brief introduction about Srinivasan Ramanujan and his achieve- ments. His lecture focussed on probability uncertainty vs Fuzzy based uncertainty . Dr. Sujit Das also explained ways and means to handle ambiguity. He then detailed about dealing ambigu- ity with fuzzy logic. He concluded session by giving some practical application of fuzzy system. Participants actively participated in discussion forum.
More than 150 faculty members, researchers and students worldwide participated in these ses- sions. They participated enthusiastically in the discussions and gave positive feedback about the program.
