The department of English and other Foreign Languages, organized an online Skill Development Programme on “Mastering the Art of Soft Skills: Unlocking the Key to Success” on 11/08/2023 between 5.30 and 7p.m. The programme began with the welcome address by the head of the department Dr. Rema. The resource person Dr. Sriranjani Mokshagundam, Faculty of Management, Sri Jagadguru Balagangadhara Collegeof Management Studies, Bangalore, Research Supervisor, Mysore University, presented with lucidity,the nuances of soft skills that enhance effective communication and thereby unlocking the keys to personal and professional success. The session was an assertion of the necessity of Soft skills that are given least priority in a technical milieu. The session turned out to be interactive with interesting Q&A moments. The event received great appreciation.
