The Department of Language, Culture and Society organised a guest lecture for I B.Tech students titled “Mastering the Art of Impactful Communication and Smart Emailing.” The session was delivered by the Chief Guest, Mr. Jeyanth S, Senior Associate at Cognizant, who proved to be exceptionally vibrant, engaging, and insightful throughout the programme.
The lecture effectively highlighted the core elements of human communication, critical thinking, and clarity of expression, with a strong emphasis on how students can consciously cultivate these skills for both academic excellence and professional success in an increasingly AI-driven world. The speaker skilfully blended theory with practice by conducting interactive games and activities focused on effective communication and active listening, which greatly enhanced student engagement.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 250 students, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed the experience and actively contributed to the discussions and activities. The event was a resounding success, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from the students, who found the session highly impactful, inspiring, and practically relevant.
