The Literary Club of the Department of English and other Foreign Languages of SRMIST Ramapuram, conducted Nexus 2023, on 18th March, 2023 from 9a.m to 4 p.m. at the Hi-Tech Halls 1 &2. A wide gamut of literary activities was conceived, meticulously planned and successfully executed by the team. There were 7 events: debate, prompt writing, fandom quiz, JAM, Photo-Journalism, Potpourri, and meme making. The club received 500+ registrations with 35+ awards, certificates, and coupons. The club events were started with a welcome note from the literary club organiser.
The literary capabilities were brought out to give flair to their creative and imaginary skills.
The winners and runners-up of the various events were awarded with medals and certificates. The participants were super enthusiastic and the halls echoed with cheers and applause throughout the day!
The participants from various departments showcased their talents in public speaking, listening to peer groups opinion for the topics given for discussion, they showed interest in creative writing. All the participants showed their satisfaction by giving an excellent feedback.
