SUMMARY OF THE EVENT
The highly anticipated Texus ’25 IPL Auction took place with great enthusiasm, bringing together aspiring franchises to compete for glory in cricket’s most celebrated league. The event featured esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Shakthi Ganesh (Dean, E&T) and Dr. N.V.S Sree Rathna Lakshmi, whose support was instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
The auction was a multi-stage competition that tested participants’ cricket knowledge, strategic thinking, and team-building skills. A total of 35 registered teams participated, each vying for supremacy in this unique format.
Round 1: Cricket MCQs
Teams answered challenging multiple-choice questions on cricket, testing their expertise. The top 20 teams advanced, while 15 were eliminated.
Round 2: Connections Game
Teams identified cricketers’ names through creative connections and clues, showcasing quick thinking. Only the top 10 teams moved forward.
Round 3: Player Auction
The final round featured intense bidding wars as teams strategically built their dream squads, balancing skill, experience, and potential.
The Texus ’25 IPL Auction was a remarkable blend of cricket knowledge, strategic thinking, and competitive spirit. It provided a platform for participants to showcase their expertise, make tactical decisions, and experience the thrill of an IPL-style auction.
