This process strengthened their ability to make calculated decisions under time pressure while maintaining long-term strategic goals. The event also improved students’ financial planning and budget management skills, as each team had to construct a balanced playing XI within a fixed budget. Participants learned to prioritize resources, evaluate cost-versus-value considerations, and manage trade-offs effectively. The live auction simulation further develops negotiation skills, persuasive communication, and tactical bidding strategies, closely resembling real-life management and business scenarios.
Team-based participation fostered collaboration, coordination, and leadership qualities.
