The Department of Mathematics, SRM IST, Ramapuram organized an International webinar on the topic “Topological Tverberg conjecture: A homotopy theoretic approach” on 20th July 2020 for faculty members and research scholars. Dr. Surojit Ghosh, University of Haifa, Israel was the resource person. More than 125 participants from all over india and abroad participated in the webinar.
Dr. Surojit Ghosh began his lecture with the introduction of Tverberg conjecture. He elucidated Chains and homology, co-chain complex, Equivariant connection, Topological join, Milnor’s Universal space and Open problems.
Participants enthusiastically participated in the question answer session.
