Summary of the Event
Day 1:
We are delighted to inform you that the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Exploring Emerging Trends and Future Directions in Machine Learning – Integrated VLSI Designin association with Entuple Technologies Private Limited, Bangalore, for faculty members on 03.07.2024 to 10.07.2024through Virtual mode. The program commenced with an invocation, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. R. Vani, a professor in the ECE Department.
A total of 700 faculty members attended the technology session. Participants gained exposure to silicon photonics, small form factors, pluggable optics, need for semiconductor packaging and advancements in transistor technologyThe vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. P. Ramani, Assistant Professor of the ECE Department.
Day 2:
A total of 500 faculty members attended the technology session. Participants gained exposure to local binary pattern and histogram of oriented gradients and challenges in semantic gap.
Day 3:
Participants gained knowledge on ASIC design , physical design process and Multi mode multi corner.Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. P. Ramani, Assistant Professor of the ECE Department
Day 4:
Around 500 faculty memebers gained knowledge on ASIC design , physical design process and Multi mode multi corner.Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. V.Reji , Assistant Professor of the ECE Department.
Day 5:
A total of 500 faculty members attended the technology session. Participants gained knowledge on ASIC design , physical design process and Multi mode multi corner.Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. V.Reji , Assistant Professor of the ECE Department
Day 6:
Participants gained knowledge on VLSI Design, Evolution of VLSI, Different levels of VLSI, IC Layout, Semiconductor manufacturing process, Electrical Probe test, Diecut and Assembly, Traditional system assembly process, Double in line package, Scaling, Intel Transistor, Micro electronics to Nano electronics, Multigate MOSFET’s Next stage CMOS Devices, FINFET, RIBBONFET. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Srisabarimani K, Assistant Professor of the ECE Department.
Day 7:
The following topics were covered in the last session. VLSI Design, Mobility Degradation in MOSFET, Operating frequency in MOSFET, Introduction to HEMTs, InP HEMTs for Terahertz Applications, Design Considerations in InP HEMT, Applications of InP HEMT, AlGaN/GaN, HEMT Biosensor. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Srisabarimani K, Assistant Professor of the ECE Department.
