Introduction
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to TI Clean Mobility Private Limited, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Ambattur, and Chennai-53 on 27th March 2025 for III Year EEE Students
TI Clean Mobility Private Limited (TICMPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tube Investments of India Limited (TII), part of the Murugappa Group. Established on February 12, 2022, and headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, TICMPL focuses on developing eco-friendly mobility solutions across various segments, including electric three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles and tractors.
Tl Clean Mobility ventured into Last Mile Mobility through Electric Three-wheeler Portfolio (Super Auto) under the brand ‘Montra Electric’. Montra Electric is set to revolutionize the automotive segment through cutting edge product proposition and creating an ecosystem for the EV segment to flourish. The brand aims to power the dreams and ambitions of a whole new generation by designing smart, best-in-class mobility solutions that drive progress.
This visit will significantly benefit students by enhancing their theoretical knowledge with practical experience and also they learnt about the latest technologies and innovations in non-pollutant Electric Vehicles. This helps students understand the evolution of technology in the field of Electric Vehicles and its practical application, thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry..

Dr.K.N.Srinivas, Professor and HOD, Department of EEE, SRMIST, Ramapuram campus welcomed the students and shared the objective and expected outcome of the visit. He also shared valuable insights about innovations in Electrical Engineering with respect to Electric Vehicles Dr.S.Premalatha, ASP/EEE, coordinated this event. The visit was accompanied by Dr.S.Premalatha, ASP/EEE and Dr.W.Margaret Amutha,AP/EEE.
