Event report
Department of English and Foreign Languages of SRMIST, Ramapuram, conducted the induction program for the EFL clubs – literary club, foreign language club and quiz club for the year 2023-2024, on 23rd September,2023 from 2pm to 3pm at the first floor of gallery hall.
The programme was commenced with a welcome speech by Dr.V.Rema ,HOD of EFL department. In the special address that followed, the Vice Principal (Academic), Dr.G.Prabhakaran highlighted the significance of these clubs and insisted that students should participate in these activities.
The event’s presidential address was presented by Dr.M.Murali Krishna, Dean, (E&T). He encouraged and motivated our students to showcase their talents and display their innate skills.
This was followed by the installation of the office bearers of all the three clubs by the Dean and Vice Principal. The office bearers were designated with club roles and badges were given to all members. The prize winners of the event CUT were awarded medals and certificates by the dignitaries.
